Abstract: Objective: With the coming of knowledge economy and the deepening reform of modern education system，education is measured mainly in terms of educational quality．The introduction of educational evaluation system will lead to an objective and scientific evaluation of the whole educational process， and thus to a continuous increase of educational quality．This paper is an introduction of and research into the importance and principles of educational evaluation as well as some related issues worthy of attention．
