Abstract: The old fractures of the femoral neck,the intracapsular variety in particular,still remains to be a difficult clinical problem.There are various methods of operations but the results are generallyunsatisfactory.Since Dec.1980 to Oct.1982,7 cases,aged 16-53 years,of old intracapsular fractures of the femoral neck have been treated by the tranposition of deep circumflex iliac vessels pedicle periosteum of lilac bone and compression nailing.Follow-up of these cases was made for 1.5 years,with good result.
