Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effective management of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments.
Methods Supporting persons were divided into control group and experiment group.Persons in control group were responsible for the management of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments by shift,while those in experiment group were put in charge of the management of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments as fixed professionals.Active,passive and total replacing times of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments and degree of surgeon satisfaction were compared.
Results The replacing times of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments were significantly less in experiment group than in control group.The degree of surgeon satisfaction was significantly higher in experiment group than in control group.
Conclusion Management of ophthalmic microsurgery instruments by fixed professionals ensures the integrity and safety of surgery instruments,guarantees successful ophthalmologic surgery and improves medical care.
