Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xiongfu Prescription（realgar and prepared aconite root） on rheumatoid arthritis-related interstitial lung disease（RA-ILD）. Methods Ninety-nine patients with established RA-ILD were randomly divided into treatment group（n=49） and control group（n=50）.Patients in control group were treated with herbal decoction,while those in treatment group were treated with combined herbal decoction and Xiongfu Prescription（0.08g realgar,0.96g prepared aconite root,and 0.96g white-stiff silkworm）. Results The combined herbal decoction and Xiongfu Prescription was significantly effective for 8 patients,effective for 32 patients,and ineffective for 9 patients in the treatment group,with a total effective rate of 81.6%,while the herbal decoction was significantly effective for 3 patients,effective for 23 patients,and ineffective for 24 patients in the control group,with a total effective rate of 52.0%（P＜0.01）. Conclusion Xiongfu Prescription has a significant and reliable effect on RA-ILD.
