Abstract: Objective To explore the role of Neuman system model in nursing patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy（LC）. Methods A total of 83 patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomly divided into control group（n=42）and experimental group（n=41）.Patients in the control group received a common treatment and patients in the experimental group underwent a three- level preventive intervention against anxiety and pain besides common treatment. Results The anxiety of patients in the experimental group 1h before operation and 3d after operation was significantly alleviated compared the control group（P＜0.05）.The anxiety level was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Neuman system model nursing process displays the holistic nursing connotation,improves the nursing and the life quality of patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
