Allogeneic bone marrow transplantation(BMT) in the treatment of acute erythroleukemia: A case report

Abstract: A 21-year old male patient with acute erythroleukemia was treated with combined chemotheropy. After the first complete remission was achieved, he received BMT following a conditioning regimen of high does of CTX and DNR and fractional total body irradiation (700 rad). The donor it his sibling. The patitent survived for nine months withno evidence of relaple. Problems pestinent to engraftment proving, FTBI, infection in BMT and lymphocytic subpopulation in BMT are discussed.
