Abstract:
Objective: To detect the plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAⅠ-1) gene expression in tissue of esophageal carcinoma.
Methods: Quantitative reverse transcription polymophoase chain reaction (PT PCR) has been used to detect PAⅠ-1 gene expression.
Results: The mRNA level of PAⅠ-1 in esophageal carcinoma is higher than those in nucosa tissue surrounding carcinoma.
Conclusion: The level of PAⅠ-1 mRNA expression increases significantly in esophageal carcinoma tissues, the detection of PAⅠ-1 gene by RT PCR in esophageal carcinoma tissues may provid the new diagnosis methods for esophageal carcinoma.
