Abstract:
Objective To systematically evaluate the relation between plasma lipid level and venous thrombosis.
Methods A metaanalysis of 10 papers on random control study about the effect of plasma lipid level on venous thrombosis was carried out using Review Manager4.2.
Results The plasma high-density lipoprotein level was higher in case group than in control group(P<0.000 01), triglyceride level was lower in case group than in control group(P<0.000 01), and there was no significant difference in plasma total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein level between the two groups(P>0.05).
Conclusion Dyslipidemia is a risk factor for venous thrombosis.
