Abstract:
Objective To elucidate the effects and toxicity of MOAP regimen on acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
Methods Thirty patients with ALL were treated with MOAP regimen and 35 patients were treated with TOLP regimen. The effects and toxicity were evaluated after 2 courses of treatment.
Results The overall response rate (ORR) for MOAP treatment and control groups was 90.9%and 86.2%, respectively (P>0.05). The overall response time of MOAP treatment and control groups was 15.7±6.4 days and 19.8±3.2 days, respectively(P<0.05). The infection rate, hemotology and non- hemotology toxicity were lower in MOAP treatment group than in control group.
Conclusion Better curative effect and tolerance can be achieved in treatment of ALL with MOAP regimen than with TOLP regimen.
