Abstract: Objective:To investigate the MBTI personality types of double bachelor flying cadets in Air Force,and provide theory basis of psychological assessment,health education and intervention strategy for flying cadets.Methods: Double bachelor flying cadets were tested with revised Chinese version MBTI.Results: The percentage of the flying cadets who fell on factors of E,S,T,J in personality trend was higher than that on factors of I,N,F,P.The number of the flying cadets with ESTJ personality type was the greatest,those with ENTP、ESTP personality type were next to it,and those with INFJ、ENFJ、INFP、ESFP and INTP personality type were the least.According to them graduating from army or local college,the students of army and local college all scored higher on factors of E,S,T,J in personality trend than on factors of I,N,F,P.As for the two classes,percentages of ESTJ personality type were evenly the highest;as for the army class,percentages of ENTJ、ENFP、ISTP、INTJ、INFJ personality type were the lowest;as for the local class,percentages of ESFP、ENFJ、ISFP、INTP、INFP personality type were the lowest.The cadets of two classes all showed significant difference on distribution of MBTI personality type.Conclusion:The double bachelor flying cadets who fall on factors of E,S,T,J in personality trend are majority,which is in accordance with the special environment of army and the responsibility of military aviators.However,a few of flying cadets still tend to be troubled by various psychological problems.The students of army and local college have different personality characteristics,so psychological health education,guide and protection work should be undertaken.
