Abstract: The electropulsogramic pattern（or type of pulse）was evaluated by electropulsogram in 53 cases with 26-38 weeks pregnancy and in 135 child-bearing-age normal women as control.The results confirmed the thesis of Chinese traditional medicine that considers the presence of amenorrhagia is associated with smooth pulse.Moreover,the pulsogramicpattern and the datd of smooth pulse in pregnancy were thus collected,giving a typical example to make diagnosis by feeling the pulse in Chinese traditional medicine more scientific and standardized.
