Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of CEA and FⅧ and their clinic significance of cervix carcinoma.
Methods: the expression of CEA and FⅧ were examined by using immunohistochemical staining in 12 cases of normal cervical epithelia,10 cases of cervix carcinoma in situ,40 cases of invasive Squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and 11 cases of invasive adenocarcinoma of cervix.
Results: It was found that the positive level of CEA expression followed this increasing order: normal cervical epithelia→cervix carcinoma in situ→invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix → invasive adenocarcinoma of cervix(P<0.05).And FⅧ gene protein was higher, however, there was statistic significance between them and celldifferentiation(P<0.05);CEA was expressed significantly higher in squamous cell carcinoma cases than in adenocarcinoma cases(P<0.05).
Conclusion: High expressions of CEA and microvessel density in squmous cervix carcinoma can predict malignant trend of cervical carcinoma, and they have close relationship with clinical behavior of cervical carcinoma.
