Abstract:
Objective:As a method of viscera protection during operation on the aortic arch, it is apparently good clinical results with retrograde cerebral perfusion through the superior vena cava for protecting brain during deep hypothermic circulatory arrest. In order to study the mechanism of hemodynamic and microvascular permeability during the retrograde perfusion.
Methods:A body circulation simulating system, which consists of pulsating pump, resistance unit, Windkessel unit and elastic pipes of different diameter, was made. A microcirculation simulating system was studied by using polypropylene hollow fiber membrane as capillary. Through adjusting the parameter of the model, for example the heart rate, peripheral resistance and arterial compliance, the flow and the waves of pressure of vascular model were simulated.
Results: The results showed that it corresponded to the physiological character of cardiovascular circulation. It proved the circulation emulating model be reasonable in both anterograde and retrograde perfusion.
Conclusion: It is a new report that the cardiovascular model home made integrated body circulation with microcirculation.
