Abstract: Two cases of amnion nodosum assciated with the oligohydramnios were reported.Congenital urinary malformation was demonstrated in the newborn on autopsy.The amnion nodosum was examined by HE stain and other special stains for the microscopic observation.Under electron-microscope they showed various types of cells,mostly being cells possibly originated from the skin cells of the fetus,mixed with some injured amnionic epithelial cells.Amnion nodosum,oligohydramnios and fetal congenital urinary malformation system may be closely related,and their pathological course and developmental mechanism require further research.
