Abstract: Objective: To investigate the utilization application and development trend of oral antidepressant in our hospita1.Methods: The common oral antidepressant used in our hospital from 2006 to 2007 was analyzed statistically by method of ranking of consumption sum and DDDs.Results: Both of consumption sum of money and DDDs were increased year by year.Consumption sum of money and DDDs in 2007 were 1.24 and 1.03 times than that in 2006 respectively.Conclusion: New type of antidepressants became the first-choice drugs for depression and related disorders gradually.Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are dominant antidepressive drugs in clinic.Some new kinds of antidepressive drugs,for example,noradrenergic and specific serotonergic antidepressant increase rapidly.The utilization of classical antidepressive drugs,TCAs,reduced year by year.Antidepressants' use in the hospital is rational as a whole.
