Abstract:
Objective: The erythrocyte adhesive function in 27 patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease (CPHD) was observed.
Methods: In total 27 CHPD patients, 21 were in acute attack stage and 6 in remission stage. The RICR, RCR and CD
58 were tested by flowcytometer.
Results: (1) RCR level in CPHD was worse than those in the control. In acute attack cases, RCR level was the lowest. (2) RICR level of acute attack cases showed decreased. (3) CD
58 on membrane of erythrocyte expressed stronger in CPHD, neither did it improve in remission cases nor did it return to normal level.
Conclusion: The erythrocyte adhesive function in patients with CPHD seems to be markedly disturbed. In order to prevent relapse, we should improve the immune ability of erythrocyte by treating the patients with CPHD.
