高能放射线治疗肺癌130例分析

Hight-energy radioactive-ray treatment for lung cancer-Analysis of 130 cases

  • Abstract: A series of 130 patients with lung cancer is reported. 86 cases received simple radiotherapy resulting in 1,3,5 year survival rate of 58.15%, 13.4%, 9.38%. In stages Ⅱ-Ⅲ lesions contraindicated of surgery or inoperable, radical irradiation should be Suggested. The Potential advantages of preoperative radiotherapy may be conversion of some tumors from being not removable to being removable and improving prognosis. After operation if the bronchus residual lesion is present, or the lymph node metastases are suspected, postoperative radiotherapy should be considered. As soon as recurrence occurs postoperative radiation has little curative effect. There is no significant difference either 80Co-r ray to be used or high-energy X ray.
