Abstract:
Objective: To study the correlation between liver pathological changes and the serum markers of fibrosis in chronic viral hepatitis (CVH).
Methods: Pathological changes of liver tissue from 37 cases with CVH were studied and serum precollagen Ⅲ pre peptide (PⅢP),laminin (LN), collagen type Ⅳ (ⅣC) and hyaluronic acid (HA) were detected by enzyme immunoassay.
Results: The levels of serum LN, ⅣC and HA were closely correlated with the degree of inflamation and bridge necrosis in liver tissues (
P<0.05~0.01). While serum PⅢP was closely correlated with the piecemeal necrosis (
P<0.05).
Conclusion: The pathological changes in liver tissues of CVH were correlated closely with liver fibrosis.
