Abstract: Objective To study the effective prescription for chronic pelvic inflammation. Methods One hundred and sixteen patients with chronic pelvic inflammation were randomly allocated into treatment group（n=58） and control group（n=58）.Patients in treatment group were given Reinforcing Kidney,Clearing Heat and Removing dampness Decoction while those in control group received routine treatment with Western drugs such as antibiotics,7d a course for 3 courses,during which symptoms,signs and B-ultrasonography findings of the patients were observed. Results The total effective rate for treatment and control groups was 94.8% and 82.8%,respectively（P＜0.05）. Conclusion The clinical effect of Reinforcing Kidney,Clearing Heat and Removing dampness Decoction on chronic pelvic inflammation is better than that of routine treatment.
