Abstract:
This paper evaluated the preventive and therapeutic effects of TDP radiation (specfic electromagnetic wave) on incision infection after perforative appendicitis operation and compared with the effects of ultrashort wave diathermy (DWD)in the past two years. The occurrence rate of incision infection in the TDP group was 4% in 25 cases and that of UWD group was 30% in 30 cases (P<0.01). In each group treated, 5 patients had infection mass, 4 of whom were cured in the TDP group, while only 1 in UWD group. The clinical result shows that TDP radiation has evident effective in dephlogisticate, antiphlogosis and relieving pain.
