Abstract:
Objective To investigate the food IgG level and serum lipids in patients with diabetes mellitus(DM) and hypertension(HT).
Methods BIOMERICA ELISA kit was used to detect food IgG antibodies.Serum lipids were detected with Roche Modular PE analyzer.
Results Crab,shrimp and egg were the three foods containing the highest IgG antibodies.IgG antibody in eggs was related with HT.Lipid metabolic disorder occurred in patients with DM and HT.The level of IgG antibodies was increased in egg,milk,wheat and crab.
Conclusion The level of IgG antibodies increases in middle and elderly persons due to dysfunction of intestinal and digestive system,and further exaggerates multiple metabolic disorders.Detecting IgG in food helps to decrease the risk of developing HT and DM.
