Abstract:
Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of multiple solid-pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas(MSPT).
Methods Clinical manifestations,pathological change and surgical effect of a MSPT patient were retrospectively analyzed with related literature reviewed and experiences in its diagnosis and treatment summarized.
Results The patient was a 38-year-old male.His clinical manifestation was upper abdominal pain.Abdominal CT demonstrated pancreatic head and body occupying lesions.The pathology examination showed MSPT of the pancreas.The patient was followed up for 2 months during which he had no discomfort and recurrence or metastasis.
Conclusion MSPT is an extremely unusual tumor of the pancreas and excellent prognosis can be achieved with surgical resection.
