Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the relationship between B-mode ultrasound manifestation and pathological changes in 856 patients with chronic hepatitis.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the B-mode ultrasound presentations and pathological changes including histological inflammatory grading, fibrosis staging and severe degree in patients diagnosed chronic hepatitis.
Results: There was positive correlation between B-mode ultrasound presentation and pathological changes. Furthermore, the width of spleen was closely related with hepatitis severity degree. Conclusions: The B-mode ultrasound examination is valuable in estimating the severity of CH. And the cohort observation of the B-mode values is of more importance
