Abstract: Objective To observe the efficiency and safety of combined compound flumethasone ointment and compound lactic acid cream in treatment of palm-sole keratinizing eczema. Methods Ninety patients with palm-sole keratinizing eczema were randomly divided into treatment group(n=45) and control group(n=45).Patients in treatment group were treated with combined compound flumethasone ointment and compound lactic acid cream(once in the morning,once in the evening) and those in control group were treated with clobetasol propionate ointment for 6 weeks.The patients were followed up for two months. Results The total effective rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group(91.11% vs 68.89%,P<0.05) while the recurrent rate was significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(14.29% vs 42.11%,P<0.05). Conclusion Combined compound flumethasone ointment and compound lactic acid cream is more effective than clobetasol propionate ointment on palm-sole keratinizing eczema.
