Abstract: From June 1977 to September 1079, 100 cases of bladder, tumor were treated by injecting Ku Fan Co. into the base of the tumor through cystpscope with encouraging result. Two weeks after the initial injection, follow-up cystoscopy was carried out to see whether the tumor or tumors were completely destroyed. An additional injection generally sufficed to destroy the residual tumor. This treatment is effective in non-infiltrating or superficially infiltrated pedunculated tumors, particularly papillary ones. Eighty-six of 100 cases thus treated were considered to be cured. The remaining 14 cases required further treatment. No remarkable side effects were observed during the course of treatment except for slight local pain.
