Abstract:
Objective: To study the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in blood culture in 2007 for the rational use of antibiotics in clinical practice.
Methods: BACTEC9050(BD Company,USA) was used to culture blood from patients in our hospital. The Walkaway 96 automatic microorganism analyzer(USA) was used to identify species and test the sensitivity of antibiotics.
Results: A total of 172 pathogenic bacterial strains were isolated from 1 129 blood samples. The positive rate was 15.2%.Gram-positive cocci,Gram-negative bacilli and fungi accounted for 45.9%,43.6%,and 10.5%,respectively.The main pathogenic bacteria were CNS,E.coli,E.faecalim,and K.pneumoniae.Staphylococci and enterocci were not resistant to vancomycin.ESBL produced 37.9% of E.coli and 25.0% of K.pneumoniae.Six pathogenic strains had multi drugresistance to A.baumannii.
Conclusion: multidrug-resistance to A.baumannii occurs in blood culture.ESBL-produced strains and cases infected with fungi increase.
