Abstract: The purpose of this study was to further explore ways and means of reconstruc-ting maxilla using mandible flap.12 dogs were divided into 4 groups according to free bone graftand osteo-muscle mandible flap. The results revealed healing of all bone grafts was satisfactory.Anterior part of the mandibular ramus was suitable to the restoration of defects of the zygomaticarch. The significance of the results was discussed.
