Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the association between the environmental factor and the spread of SARS in Beijing and North of China.
Methods:Data were collected based on SARS daily report and the air pollution index during the spring of 2003. The relativity and correlation test were conducted by statistical analysis.
Results:The relativity of the API with the outbreak of SARS in Beijing and North of China is significant.
Conclusion:When the non-imported cases of SARS are accumulated to a certain level in some regions,the spread of SARS is possibly to be related with the air pollution index.
