Abstract:
Objective To compare the cleaning effects of 3 enema preparations before laparoscopic operation in gynecology.
Methods Three hundred patients who were going to undergo laparoscopic operation in gynecology were randomly divided into group A undergoing enema with oral polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder(n=100),group B undergoing enema with oral mannitol(n=100),and group C undergoing enema with oral magnesium sulfate(n=100).Adverse reaction rate, defecation frequency, first defecation and exsufflation time of the patients were recorded after operation.
Results The adverse reaction rate was lower in group A(15%) than in groups B(32%) and C(36%),the number of defecation frequencies was greater in group B than in groups A and C,and the first exsufflation and defecation time were lower in group A than in groups B and C after operation(P<0.05).
Conclusion Polyethylene glycol electrolyte solution can be used in preparation of bowls before laparoscopic operation in gynecology with a satisfactory cleaning effect, few adverse effects, and an exsufflation-promoting effect.
