Abstract: Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of combined therapy of Lipo PGE₁ and cobamamide in the treatment of neuralgia in Herpes zoster.Methods: 66 patients with neuralgia of Herpes zoster were randomly divided into 2 groups: control group were treated with acyclovir,amitriptyline and semi-conductor laser,treatment group were administrated with Lipo PGE₁ and cobamamide additionally based on the management of control group.The two groups were both treated for 1 week.Results: The effective rates（ER） for treatment group and control group were 84.8% and 63.6% respectively.Great significances were found between two groups（P＜0.05）.Pain score and the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia of treatment group were lower than that of control group in 3 months after the treatment.Conclusion: Combined therapy of Lipo PGE₁ and cobamamide is safe and effective for the treatment of neuralgia in Herpes zoster and can prevent postherpetic neuralgia in some degree.
