Abstract:
Objective: To observe the correlation between interleukin level and hypertension in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS).
Methods: OSAS was diagnosed with PSG method and serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10 were measured by ELISA.
Results: The serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were higher in OSAS patients with hypertension than in those without hypertension. However, the serum level of IL-10 was lower in OSAS patients with hypertension than in those without hypertension.
Conclusion: The interleukin levels are different in severe OSAS patients, which may play a role in the development of hypertension in OSAS patients.
