Abstract: Severe pain after war trauma can cause a series of adverse reactions and even be life-threatening. Timely and effective analgesia in the tactical area can reduce the pain of the wounded and the occurrence of complications, which is of great significance in improving the prognosis of the wounded and restoring the combat effectiveness of the lightly wounded soldiers. In recent years, the research of war trauma analgesia has been developing in the direction of improving the safety of drug application and optimizing the drug delivery strategy. This review summarizes the current mainstream drugs and analgesic techniques used in war trauma analgesia in the world, and analyzes their applicability in the tactical area in detail. It introduces important military trauma analgesia technologies such as battlefield acupuncture, continuous peripheral nerve block, cryoneurolysis, percutaneous peripheral nerve stimulation and transdermal drug delivery system, and looks forward to the possible future development direction of war trauma analgesia, in order to provide reference for future research in this field.
