食管鳞癌组织中Bmi-1的表达及临床意义

Expression of Bmi-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissue and its clinical significance

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨Bmi-1表达与食管鳞癌生物学行为之间的关系。 方法 应用免疫组化SP法和荧光定量PCR方法从蛋白和mRNA水平检测48例食管鳞癌组织中Bmi-1的表达。 结果 食管鳞癌组织中Bmi-1蛋白的表达量显著高于癌旁食管黏膜组织(P< 0.01),mRNA水平表达与蛋白一致;Bmi-1蛋白高表达与组织分化程度及淋巴结转移有关(P< 0.05),与年龄、性别、肿瘤大小无关(P> 0.05)。 结论 Bmi-1在食管鳞癌中高表达,与疾病进展密切相关,可作为预测食管癌生物学行为、判断预后的一个参考指标。

     

    Abstract: Objective To study the relation between Bmi-1 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) tissue and biological behavior of ESCC. Methods Expressions of Bmi-1 protein and mRNA in 48 ESCC tissue samples were detected by immunohistochemical SP and RT-PCR, respectively. Results The expression levels of Bmi-1 protein and mRNA were significantly higher in ESCC tissue samples than in its adjacent tissue samples(P< 0.01). The over-expression of Bmi-1 protein was positively related with lymph node metastasis and differentiation of esophageal carcinoma(P< 0.05), but not with age, sex, and tumor size. Conclusion Bmi-1 is over-expressed in ESCC, which is closely related with the progress of ESCC, and can be used as a predicting marker for its biological behavior and prognosis.
