亚甲基四氢叶酸还原酶基因多态性与缺血性脑卒中的相关性研究进展

Correlation of MTHFR gene polymorphism and ischemic stroke

  • 摘要: 缺血性脑卒中严重危害人类健康。近年来大量研究证实,血浆同型半胱氨酸水平升高是诱发缺血性脑卒中的独立危险因素。亚甲基四氢叶酸还原酶是同型半胱氨酸代谢过程中的关键酶,酶活性的改变直接影响血浆同型半胱氨酸的水平。因此,亚甲基四氢叶酸还原酶的基因多态性与缺血性脑卒中的相关性逐渐成为研究热点。本文讨论目前国内外在这一领域的研究进展。

     

    Abstract: Ischemic stroke (IS) is one of the leading causes of mortality and disability in the world. In recent years, elevated plasma homocysteine has been studied for a potential role in ischemic stroke. Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is a key enzyme in homocysteine metabolism, and its changes of enzyme activity, can affect the level of plasma homocysteine. Recently, the relationship between the gene polymorphism of MTHFR and IS has gradually been a hot research. This article discusses the international advances in this field.
