Advances in treatment of malignant pleural effusion with indwelling pleural catheter

摘要: 恶性胸腔积液是晚期肿瘤的常见并发症，治疗的主要目的是控制呼吸困难症状。胸腔置管引流是目前临床上治疗恶性胸腔积液的常用方法之一。本文介绍了胸腔置管引流在恶性胸腔积液治疗中的地位、胸腔置管引流管的种类及胸腔置管引流的管理、并发症及其处理措施。

Abstract: Malignant pleural effusion is a common complication of advanced tumors, and the main goal of its treatment is to control dyspnea symptom. Indwelling pleural catheter is one of the common methods for the treatment of malignant pleural effusion in clinical practice. This paper introduces the current application of indwelling pleural catheter in the treatment of malignant pleural effusion, the types of drainage tubes and its management, complication and related measurements.
