miR-214在心血管疾病中的作用综述

Research advances in role of miR-214 in cardiovascular diseases

  • 摘要: 心血管疾病是威胁人类生命健康最主要的疾病,也是全球人口疾病死亡的主要原因。当前越来越多的研究致力于寻找全新、有效的可用于诊断、预防和治疗心血管疾病的生物标志物,非编码微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)是一个重要发展方向。近年来microRNA在心血管系统中的生理病理作用被广泛研究,它参与心脏的大多数生理过程和心血管疾病的病理进展。本文选取miR-214,综述其在心肌肥厚、缺血性心肌病和心力衰竭中的作用。

     

    Abstract: Cardiovascular disease, as one of the world's leading causes of death, is a major threat to human health globally. A growing number of studies have focused on seeking a novel and effective biomarker to be used in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Non-coding microRNAs (miRNAs), belonging to an important class of endogenous non-coding small RNAs, can be one of the candidates. In recent years, the physiological and pathological roles of microRNAs in the cardiovascular system have been thoroughly studied. They are shown to be involved in most physiological processes of the heart, as well as most pathological progresses of cardiovascular diseases. The findings on the behavior of miR-214 in hypertrophy, ischemic cardiomyopathy and heart failure are summarized in this review.
