寨卡病毒相关性吉兰-巴雷综合征的研究进展

Research advances in Zika virus-associated Guillain-Barré syndrome

  • 摘要: 寨卡病毒相关性吉兰-巴雷综合征(Zika virus-associated Guillain-Barré syndrome,ZIKV-GBS)是一种自身免疫性周围神经疾病,是寨卡病毒(Zika virus,ZIKV)感染并发的神经后遗症之一。虽然ZIKV-GBS的临床表现多遵循GBS的经典表现,但由于病原体不同导致其致病机制、病情严重程度及结局与经典型GBS存在较大差异。随着ZIKV在世界范围内的暴发流行,ZIKV-GBS的发病率也急剧增加。目前仍缺乏针对ZIKV的治疗性(抗病毒药)或预防性(疫苗)干预措施。因此,进一步了解ZIKV及ZIKV-GBS对于预防和治疗ZIKV-GBS至关重要。本文就ZIKV结构特点、ZIKV-GBS临床特点、动物模型研究及致病机制研究等方面进行综述,以期为疾病的发生和进展提供新的见解和认知,同时为ZIKV-GBS的治疗和干预提供新的策略。

     

    Abstract: Zika virus-associated Guillain-Barré syndrome (ZIKV-GBS) is an autoimmune peripheral neuropathy and one of the neurological sequelae that occurs after the outbreak of Zika virus (ZIKV). Although the clinical manifestations of ZIKV-GBS mostly follow the classic manifestations of GBS, the pathogenic mechanism, severity and outcome of the pathogens are also different from those of classic GBS. With the widespread of ZIKV worldwide, the incidence of ZIKV-GBS has also increased dramatically. However, there is still a lack of therapeutic (antiviral) or preventive (vaccine) interventions against ZIKV. Therefore, further understanding of ZIKV and ZIKV-GBS for the prevention and treatment of ZIKV- GBS is essential. This article reviews the structural characteristics of ZIKV, the clinical characteristics of ZIKV-GBS, the research status and progress of animal model studies and pathogenic mechanisms, so as to provide new insights and understandings for the occurrence and progression of this disease, and new strategies for treatment and intervention of ZIKV-GBS.
